Small cylinders are reliable, save space and cost very little. Most have a minimum length of 2 3/4″ long. They have some that are double acting cylinders for pressures as high as 5000 PSI. Some have 1/2″ to 3″ bore in any stroke to 72″. It has a standard lip type rod seals that get rid of external leakage. There are some options you can consider, different mounting styles, seal types and different rod ends. Also, there is a round thread design that gives a maximum strength and pressure ratings.
